Remember when the Sears Die Hard batteries had a "lifetime" warranty? This was fine, when they actually made them to last a life time, because they never had to replace them. As time went on, apparently the manufacturers started cutting corners. Then they were no longer "life time" batteries, and they had to replace a lot of them. Eventually they quit selling them with "life time" warranty.
