Well stated Mike.
As a retired business owner, I know this modern worry well.
Now, if an employee comes to work intoxicated, (and because of their past work performance you would be uninclined to offer a second chance) you can't just fire them then and there.
You must jump through many hoops with the law, counseling, etc. and all the while the hard working sober employees get resentful
So the pendulum has swung too far the other way imho.
