Thanks for posting that again Dave. I have seen it before but today I took more time for a closer look. My 1947 WDX has the model #36 heater as shown in your #1 photo.
My dash area is the same as your # 3 photo. The heater is the same. Took me a while to find the emergency brake lever. Who actually uses the e brake on a standard shift anyway? But what really got my attention is the two hanging "indicators" from the underside of the dashboard that appear to point out the appropriate neutral position for the two transfer case levers.
Mine has the deluxe cab, but I can't recall any discussion re this "option" on this Forum here before. But then I have only been hanging around here for the last 9 years. Keep up the good work guys. And thanks again Joe for this great informative Forum.. JJB.
