Very good information Clint and thank you. I recall my 47 WDX had a model 36 which I rebuilt from 2 other parts heaters. I matched the correct color of the housing as best as I could.
My current projest, a 1953 B4PW has a model 61 heater which I have several of. The color seems to be a rather dark reddish brown. Would this have been correct? The defrost controls were missing but if I can get to the back of my storage container, I think I may have a couple.
