I lost my dad a few years back. Here’s some advice:
Dig out all of your old movies of him and take them to a place to have them digitized on a flash drive or DVD’s. Give some to your brothers and sisters as gifts.
I love to go back and watch them of my family now and then. They become more valuable to you over time. I found myself watching some of Dad recently on a rainy night and had a Baileys Irish Cream while watching to honor him. (We’re Irish)
