My father passed away peacefully on Friday. He spent the last 9 months living at my home with my mom (who has Alzheimers) I know he felt very relived to have help dealing with my mom. He is the guy who gave me the basics on working on cars starting with my first car,a 1955 Chevy Delray. We pulled the engine and bought a short block and put it back in. We redid the brakes and I had a great car until I traded it for a junker with a V8. I lost on that deal but gained quite a bit of knowledge. He liked my Power Wagon but never got to ride in it. He loved that I had such a great hobby. I can say that I was relieved for him when he went and I guess I have a little survivor guilt that I feel some relief for me and his other caretakers. I know this forum is full of stand up guys who will let me reminisce a little. Thanks you.
