If anyone is interested, the Dynatrac rebuildable ball joints got my money. 12 years and 160,000 miles ago I bought the Dynatrac front hub conversion for my '06 2500 CTD. Along with a few other minor contributing and non-contributing options, such as Banks intercooler and larger air ram intake, upgrade air intake filter, modified exhaust and exhaust brake, I noticed a modest 1 1/2 to 3 mpg increase. The kit was very impressively machined and thorough, and has performed flawlessly. The supplied Warn hubs are a bit of a joke compared to the old Warns from 50 years ago, but so is most everything else.
Anyway, their rebuildable ball joints cost a little over $300 more than OEM, but if or when they need it, they sell a kit for $200 that allows you to rebuild all four without removing them from the truck. Sorry this was long and perhaps off topic slightly, but I know some of you drive trucks like mine.
