I send all that. the 12 volt WCs in WW2 had 60 amp ammeters and 55 amp generator. I think they were capable of way more than 55 amps tho. I had my VR stick on full charge and I disconnected the battery cable when it was running with the lights on and it blew every bulb in the truck... ammeter was fine.
