That's wrong.
One small wire goes to the battery+ terminal along with the charge wire to the battery.
The other small wire goes to the ign.
No resistor is needed.
But you will need a Diode in the Ign. wire,
Or the truck won't shut off after starting.
Could also use a idiot light but I'm not going into that.
