Door pillar cleaning

Hi everyone, I had my ‘56 cab blasted yesterday and I was rolling it over to clean out all the hidden places sand gets trapped. In the forward left door pillar I pulled out 40 large fence stapes, 2 medium size chains, a few bolts and nuts and a lot of dirt, sand and rust. How can I get the inside of the pillars clean and rust free?
