Not sure what you mean by "depth". The VPW versions are a 17" rim 8" wide. They have basically a 4" positive offset so that the face of the BUDD center is flush with the outer lip of the rim.

A portion of the the BUDD rim remains outside the rivets, that is the weld surface to the tubeless rim. Very nicely made, and while most 35" and 37" tires want an 8.5" minimum width so far no issues running them on the slightly narrower rim.

My only complaints about the VPW rims are that the location of the valve stem is less than ideal. A short valve stem is best. And the outer BUDD rim forms a small void between the center and the rim which will trap moisture and such. I still get sand and dirt coming out of mine from the powder coating.
