Air cleaner attach ???

I have this air cleaner along with two others. The two smaller cleaners have clamps at the bottom to attach to the 2 1/4 top of the Carter carb. The bigger one does not have a clamp and it looks to be missing some sort of adapter. The clamps on the other two are integral to the air cleaner bases. What is the story with how to mount that air cleaner?
