Steering gear bearings are a unique system. the cage will fit several cup sizes so it is important to know just what you have. I have a master Timken bearing book. From the book. An 18 cup is from the 15 series steering gear set. series 15 items includes 15ab & 15bc rollers and use 16,17 or 18 cups. A 18 cup has a special chamfer according to the notes. All these parts are different sizes. Be sure of what you have before you buy any bearing.
