Thanks for the response! I just finished rebuilding the PTO and NP420 and have a NOS shift tower. Also have a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing, and pilot bushing installed. It runs very smoothly compared to before and shifts nicely.
However, I have a faint knocking sound that appears to be coming from the PTO. Speeds up and slows down with RPMs. It engages very smoothly in both directions. Could be the lash is not correct? Just was hoping I wouldn't have to take it out again...
