I just had 6 1941 wheels with what was probably the original tires on them, Rock hard rubber. The cost was $15. each with them getting rid of the old rubber.
I cleaned the rims and they reinstalled my tires of choice with my new flaps and tubes for another $15. each.
At those prices I will never think of even trying to do one myself.
It was a tire company who specializes in truck tires.
