I would suggest at least a 15 gallon tank for the hydraulic oil. A hydraulic motor developes a lot more heat than when using a cylinder (i.e. a log splitter). I recently saw a hydraulic pump that mounts directly to a PTO, without driveshafts. It looked like a really neat set-up.

For the A/C set-up, I have heard of a factory option on trucks, but it is extremely rare. The brackets are probably the same on a car poly 318. Chryslers @ Carlisle July 10-12 will have cars with a poly A/C set-up.

Boring an old style 318 .060" over should not be a problem as the castings are quite thick. An old copy of Direct Connection Speed Secrets, Small Blocks, says .030" over is the limit for the LA engines, but not the old ones
