Signal Stat arrow turn signals

Went to a swap meet today and found a mint set of these turn signals in their original box with all the paperwork, switch lever assembly, flasher unit and so on. I've been looking for several years for a nice set and never thought I'd find uninstalled originals. There were 4 turnsignals in the set. 2 of them,like 1/2 a soup can, have the arrows visible from both sides with a visor on one side. The other 2 are like 1/2 a softball with an arrow on one side with visor. Part # on lights are 704 and 702. My question is are the one sided lights normally mounted on the back? If so where? Fenders? bed pockets?

Forgive my long post as maybe you guys are the only ones who would understand a grown man getting excited about turn signals! No, I don't want to sell them either. Thanks for any input, Kevin
