Rear Main Seal

I am at the point of reassembling my 230 engine. The machinist provided the complete gasket set. The rear main seal seems to be two rope seals, but they are not long enough or fat enough to fill the depressions in the rear main. I also see four rubber items that may match the seals in the parts manual but I am at a loss as to what is the proper seal, and if the rubber items are actually part of the rear main seals. Any help would be appreciated. Picture of the rubber item attached.
