What a blast! Today - I found myself quite depressed, having to leave such an awesome place and great event, coming back to sweaty Texas.
Many thanks to Carl Buckingham and Greg Coffin for organizing the event. The camp site and trail rides left nothing to be desired. Since the trail rides begin early and end late, the campsite BS activity was restricted to the evenings.
A special thanks is in order for Carl, who
caught on film a rare glimpse of the Alpine
Exploding Trout, which spontaneously erupted
in front of our very eyes, truly amazing.
It was nice to put faces to names, like John Eickhof, Jim Pace, Tim Way, and meeting folks like Chris Godfrey and Digger.
Got to witness some high altitude car crushing thanks to Atomic Drew, and received a free SOFA from none other than BLZ and Prof. Don Evans, thanks guys.
Looking forward to attending this event on an
annual basis.
