Doesn't sound like they really know about Mopar flatheads or what would be the right jetting for them. I wonder what engine they consider to be an "in-line 6 cylinder jeep". Good to at least know their "jeep" adapter won't work. The tricky part of the machining, it seems me, would be the throat that has to go from oblong to round smoothly. That seems tough to do except with a CNC mill, and to keep it from being too abrupt you'd be starting with a pretty large billet (expensive). For a small production run, I bet a guy could sand-cast the blanks. When I worked for Intermec we did that for industrial bar code scanner housings, and it worked remarkably well with really cheap tooling. Anyway, keep us posted on your investigation. I think it's a very interesting project.
