I bought them from VPW and installed them as-is. I thought I'd be smart and avoid water absorption issues in a truck I rarely get to drive, so I used silicone-based DOT5 fluid when I completely rebuilt the system. All new lines and wheel cylinders, and I rebuilt the MC. I've been plagued by a leak, and decided to pull the MC and cylinders, and clean out everything and redo for DOT3 fluid. Cleaning the cylinders out today, I found what looked like thick white grease. Either they came this way from VPW, or this is the residue from the silicone DOT5 fluid. Thank you to everyone for your help and imput!
