OT: 4bt hard start

I need some help. I have a 4bt that is hard to start. It has all new lines fuel and return, new lift pump, Line from lift pump to fuel filter, fuel filter to injector pump. Cranks for 30 or 40 seconds before it tries to start then seems to hit on one cylinder acouple times then starts. It will then restart fine the rest of the day. The starter barely ingages befor it fires. After it sits all nite back to cranking again. Any ideas.
