After seeing some of the news from CNN while I was visiting in Austin, I became very concerned that my Power Wagon would be underwater by the time we returned to Houston today. Luckily, everything was relatively dry at my home, but the flooding in neighboring areas is beyond belief. I-10 freeway is flooded with the tops of 18-wheeler trailers sticking out above the water. The subdivision just south of here has 6 feet of water running through peoples' homes. I feel sorry for so many people loosing all that they had. For me, this has been a most humble reminder of just how insignificant my everyday problems really are. If someone outbids me on eBay, I'm going to just thank God, I got a computer, a phone that works, and a dry place for my family and I to be. Thank you all who read this.
