We have 10+ small fires burning in Boulder County right now. Dispatch has been toning the entire county for the last 45 minutes from the t-storm that came through. Fortunately the fires are all small at this time, and most of them have been easy to get to.
We were on the Flagstaff fire last night, and have a 5 man crew up there cutting line today. Hope they get a handle on it soon.
4-Mile canyon is expecting 3/4" of rain in their area in the next 30 minutes, which could lead to flooding in the 4-Mile burn area. Sheesh!
And God help everyone in Colo Springs. They got hammered yesterday. Still no word on the number of structures lost. It's unbelievable.
It's going to be a long fire season my friends.
