Well now, You never mentioned all that.
That head was loose.
You always re torque copper gaskets.
better keep a good watch on this.
You don't need coolant in those bearings,and you know that.
I'm pretty sure I read .80 " can be shaved from an original head casting.
So if you know what was removed the first time you can go from there.
Don't know what the original thickness is.
It may be in a TM somewhere.
