I have a 1995 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 360 and Automatic with 3.55 gears and I towed 7000lbs of gravel and it worked the 360 pretty hard. It did the job but 20000 might be a bit much for the 360. But you also have some different gearing then I have and they might help your situation out a little better.
