never ran into the crank nut issue but have the others. they made the engines for cars and trucks from 1935 till early 60s for multiple brands so there are bound to be differences. the bolt on filler tube is unique to late war WCs and M37s, I think it is the same with the thread in dipstick tube. I had one engine that only had 4 bolts for the flywheel instead of 8, but the 8 bolt flywheel will still bolt on. rings and bearings might be a good idea if it has been sitting around. if no stamping on pistons then most likely standard bore of 3.250. easy to drill and pipe tap the temp gauge hole.
