PW cab and 2wd cab differences....

What exactly is different between, say, a WDX cab and a like-year 2wd cab? I've always heard they weren't the same, but never have never seen a true side-by-side description. I'm thinking about doing a from-scratch truck, and I know 2wd cabs are fairly plentiful compared to original PW cabs. I LOVE my '50, but I'd really like to build another one that is daily-driver material (i.e., Dana 60/70, PS, PB, V-8, air, etc.). If I could do that, I'd sell ALL of my other cars/trucks/projects and have a dd and my '50 as a parade/work/weekend cruise with the family truck.
