I made a rectangle of 1 1/2" copper pipe, about 12" wide by 4' tall, with tees top and bottom center. Mounted it to the wall above the compressor. Half inch rubber hose from comp to bottom tee, always upwards. The hot air from the tank cooled in the copper, the water condensed out, and drained back into the tank. We drained the tank manually , once a day. The rest of the system was heavy 1/2" PVC. Plenty of air flow for the five horse compressor. Never any water issues, even in our spray booth. The spray booth had the only drier. The shop was 100' long, 20' wide, air lines down each side.
