OT Clutch arm throw...maybe Dodge is the same

I am just about done with the Chebby swap into my CJ. I am running a hydraulic clutch and was wondering what kind of throw I am needing (at the tranny) to properly engage the clutch. The trans is a 4 speed SM465. I am getting about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2".

I fought it for quite awhile without ever getting it to work....come to find out, I was in such a hurry to get the trans mated to the engine that I didn't realize I put the disk in backwards...holds nicely with the springs riding on the crank bolts just won't disengage....'doh.
