heater switch

The heater in my new tow truck was disconnected when I got it. I decided to connect power to it and learned that the fan was hanging up. So I pulled it out, cleaned the mouse beds out of it, oiled it and put the power to it. It turns great, but really fast. The label on it says Chrysler Corp., but it is not original to the truck. It was wired to a toggle switch, on or off. Is the switch normally a rheostat type? If so, does anyone have a good one to sell?
