I Have a set of rear shock mounts I pulled a few years back from a 1959 D100 Power Giant, and the top mounts bolt right up to the frame of my 1958 W200 so I installed them but, the bottom brackets don't fit. it looks to me like they used some sort of spacer in between the bottom of the cup piece the latches onto the bottom of the axle that the U-bolts go through and the bracket but also the holes in the bracket from the donor truck (1959 D100) are 3/4" or so wider than my U-bolts. so was the W series different?? my truck didn't have the rear shocks/mounts from the factory, so I have no point of reference
does anybody have a picture of the correct bottom rear shock mounts for the 1958 W200 PG Power Wagon?? I'd like to do this right the first time. Thanks guys!
