I had to make a personal trip to Olympia yesterday and took the opportunity to pull off @ the Cowlitz river exit and check out the military 4x4 that I posted about a while back. The one that appeared to have Stude cab. Well, the guy happened to be out at the mailbox when I pulled up and got the straight scoop. It's a '42 Dodge but has a Stude cab tacked on. He said it took a lot of cutting and welding by somebody to get it to fit. The sheet metal is all pretty shot but the running gear he claimed was all original, good shpe and he wants 1,500 bucks for it. Says it goes to the crusher if it doesn't sell in the next couple of weeks.
