BOYS BOYS BOYS. OK what is it with this electric fuel pump stuff. When these trucks hit the beaches of Normandy did they have electric pumps. NO NO NO. They ran all the way across Europe without them. I have driven my Trucks up down in and out hot and cold weather no matter what with a good fuel system and NEVER repeat Never had a problems with the stock fuel pump. So if you take a step back from your truck and do a complete check of you fuel system, get a manuel fix it right it will be fixed. This Problem has been the #1 problem talked about here on the forum. Lots of good info but still we want to put that electric pump on. SO if you guys want to have a fuel system class at my shop be there this Saturday morning, will have hot coffie and donuts on hand and I will show you the right path to a great stock fuel system without problems. These old cars, trucks busses whatever do not REPAEAT do not need elelctric fuel pumps to run. OK are we done now. I have driven my Command car in near 100 degree heat for over 2 hours up steep hills with the stock fuel pump. It has sat outside in winter overnight in freezing cold weather and started and ran all day hauling troops around at the Battle of the Bulge. So lets fix it right and it will be done. Please lets pretend that there is no such thing as a electric fuel pump. I will be glad to help anyone take one of those off there trucks. OK I feel better now. Thanks, Bill.
