I have seen both goodyear and budd made comabat wheels for 3/4 ton WCs. Casting material changes like the brass you see sometimes on one WC or PW and then not another are usually from the foundry running out of material to cast with. Even late 90s dodge neons for a short part of a run got aluminum cast intake manifolds instead of the regualr plastic ones because they ran out of ingredients for the plastic. Now the neon fans search around the bone yards for the prized aluminum intake! easier to port and polish. ;/)
