If we all follow these simple steps, companies will move their operations back to the U.S.:

1) We as workers all need to take a pay cut and work for less money. As long as someone else in another country is willing to work for less per hour than we do here, our companies will keep moving there and will be employing them instead of us.

2) We as consumers all need to be willing to pay more for the goods we buy. As long as companies see the need to move operations over seas to provide a less costly product to the comsumer, they will continue to do so.

3) We as stockholders need to be willing to accept a lower return on our investments. As long as companies concentrate on maintaining the ability to pay high dividends and keep the stockholders happy, they are going to keep looking for ways to make more money in order to do so. (This one basically effects everyone, even if they do not directly invest their money as someone else is certainly using their money for that purpose.)

4) We as business owners, management, board members, etc. need to be willing to accept the levels of wages that the average U.S. worker accepts and learn to adapt and live within our means.

5) We as a group need to stop expecting the world to be better for our children than what it has been for us.

6) We need to work longer and play less.

Simple yet scary steps. It all kind of goes against Capitalism. Hmmm?
