That was part of the problem. They had a dump truck with concrete blocks on it in the rear, presumably for pushing, but it wasn't coupled to the trailer and the trailer rear end didn't have a way to power itself. The rear was set up similar to the front as far as having another 40 or so tires on 5 or 6 axles, and they had a hydraulic unit to actively pivot each base unit, but they couldn't turn an individual axle or power the rear under its own propulsion. All in all, we figured roughly 90 tires on the rig, which works out to about 7500 lbs/tire, which seems about right. You'll notice the ground clearance was mighty slim too.
