I went back and looked and looked again all thr the pictures of the sweptline registry, its got to be the same bumper with some addons since it sucks so bad from the factory. I now understand that those w500 winches you guys have use a fair lead on the bottom of the bumper due to some way they must be mounted, that is not my truck, my truck is that new mexico truck with the lu2 incorrect hacked on frame rails. To be perfectly honest i have never seen the winch you guys have on your w500s and the frame extensions it uses. Thats part of the problem i have when i look at factory winch bumpers. I have 3 mounted on w200s with the step bumper, one umounted but they are all the lu2 winch. I think AAA says the w500 optional winch was also offered on the w300 but i am not sure. Whats funny is that I bought a dead D500 just to get the Primo Virgen step bumper off of it to correct my hacked up winch on my w500!!!LMAO and taking a big bite of crow..,,,, chomp chomp bite bite swallowing crow feathers and a crowfoot!!lol I am going to try to score the correct winch bumper, winch, and winch extensions and correct cable control handle and location to convert mine some day. What's funny isthe winch and winch bumper reminds me of the different names of Powergiants, Sweptlines, Sweptsides, Utline, Sweptline beds 1 2 3 series wm beds etclol I never would buy the Don Burns book due to seeing it bashed by all the forum experts, but since Jerry has posted it has w500 pictures with winches I am going to try to buy one tonight just to look aT the winch trucks in it. Now i am going to hang myself on Jerrys correctly mounted winch hooks for my pentance!!!!! Nice winch and Nice winch bumpers guys!!!!!! And thanks for your patience with me, gulps down mo crow!!!
