I use digital also. When I calibrate them I just close the jaws to zero. If they read something other than zero you just push the zero button. Or turn them off and when you turn them back on they sgould go back to zero. That's the only way you can calibrate them (at the zero position). I don't believe you can calibrate them with a gauge block. You can check them with a guage block but there is no way to change the reading to whatever size the guage block is.
Don't you have a button on them to change the reading to zero?
