I have talked to several people about water separators as I am getting a lot of it right now. Here is what I was told: Water separators need to be located about 25 feet away from the air tank. This gives the air enough time to cool down and allow the water to condense out of the air. It will be much more effective at 25' down the line then if you place it right at the tank.
