OT: air compressor filtering

I have a vertical, 2 cyl Ingersol-Rand compressor, 80 gal, 200 psi. I've been bead blasting my FFPW parts, of which I have many, and after about an hour of continuous use, I'm getting oily condensation out of the blast gun.

I have one water filter mounted on the compressor, immediately after the outlet pipe exites the tank. Since all I'm doing at this time is blasting, I don't have a tool oiler device installed. The hose is brand new and has never been attached downline from an oiler.

Finally, my questions: how do I fix this problem? should I mount another water separator? where is the oil coming from? could the piston rings be shot and the crank case oil be getting past them? it doesn't have any trouble building pressure.

I have months of blasting to go as this is a full body-off restoration, with most parts being completely dissassembled for inspection, cleaning and painting. I really don't want to have to battle this compressor for clean air. That takes all the fun out of it.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks.
