I use what is called 'Q Pads'. They are 12" x 12" and have a sticky back. They must be warm so they will flex to the contours of doors, floors etc. They really insulatebut the main purpose is sound deadining. Any Auto Body Supply house will have them....mabye under a different name, but the same concept.
