I have a problem, I came across a WM300 a while back and now stumbled on a 53 and 62 M-37. The 53 has a winch and is rust free plus runs good. Looks to only be missing a few parts and the owner wants $2400. The 62 is even nicer but has no winch. No price as of yet on it. Both were in a military museum so that explains the condition. Now the delema, I basically want a truck to play around with and go tromping through the woods with. What are the specs on the M37. I see the specs on the WM300 on this web site, so need some numbers to compare the M-37 capabilities. In my opinion the WM300 is more collectable, but the M37 seems to have more parts available. Mainly I would like to know what engine and gear ratios the M37 would have. I have pictures if anyone wants to see these trucks. I am in Va.
