I'm a newbie to PW's and I just bought my M37 but I also love the Civilian PW's. Civilian PW's seem to be few and far between and now with guys simply "collecting" them the prices can be steep. When looking for parts the M37 is the winner hands down -- just a lot more surplus etc... Just keep in mind that quite a number of parts are interchangeable between M37's And it's Civilian counterpart.
I bought my M37 because I wanted a daily driver without getting an arm and a leg tied up in it. So, if you ask me the M37's are a better deal right now but soon they'll become pricey for the same reason PW's are now.
