Sitting next to a 3/4 ton command car body I'm trying to pry out of my neighbors hands, is a '41 Plymouth 1/2 ton truck. Are these rare vehicles? I've never heard of Plymouth trucks, just cars (My brother in law has a '54 Plymouth Savoy car with a 230ci flathead that gets over 20 MPG!!!). My neighbor said that they were only made for 4 years. It looks like a '40 Dodge but the grill is a little different and the frame has a steering gear bolt pattern on the right frame rail. Anyone (Come on Fred Coldwell!) have any info on these trucks, as he wants it to go with the command car if he decides to sell it.
