Jonas,

Plymouth made half-ton pickups starting with the PT-50 in 1937 and finishing with the PT-125 in 1941. That's actually five production years. 6,073 were sold in 1941. They were built at the Dodge Truck Plant on the same assembly lines as the Dodge trucks. The major difference was the 201ci engine instead of the 218ci Dodge. The '41 model was definitely the pick of the Plymouth litter. It is a collector's item, but don't let your neighbor know. Maybe you could do him a "favor" and offer to haul it away when you get the command car body. Good Luck.
