I bet a guy could rig one up using one of those metal "blast gates" they sell for wood shop sawdust collectors, actuated by a manual control cable like you use for choke or throttle. If it's an emergency shut-down it seems to me you don't want it dependent on electricity, air, or any sort of automatic controller.
