I talked to one towtruck driver today and got a look at the drum brake . This is an internal drum brake , they did not know what it was out of but thought it was from a mid 70s Ford truck . The out put shaft was modified at a local machine shop to get the system to work . The system was quite small and took up very little space.
So much for a bolt in . The tow truck driver says the system has worked fine for many years and it hold really well.
Does anyone out there have any comments reguarding exhaust brakes ? What do they cost and are they worth it ?
