there has been a bunch of interesting posts lately about people being able to fabricate parts for our rigs. snake river, doug higgins and ray suiter come to mind. i'm sure we have all had parts made for our rigs from difft machine shops etc. i had the top bow knobs for my command car made. they are the best example of new england craftsmanship i have ever seen. i also had the two metal supports that wc windshield frames rest on made in stainless. point is, if we had a place to post which shops have made parts from us, we all be helping eachother out AND we would be keeping those small machine shops that will make our parts in business. i'd love to build a power wagon using some parts from these shops. just a thought
