Gordon, The best knowledge I have on the subject is my Chrysler 265 IND that I put in my M37. It is a big block as compared to the 230 Dodge. I had long thought the only IND engines were 265's but I have seen some forum talk about 251 IND's. I suppose there might be some differences in the IND's camshaft specs. as they were used as stationary pump engines as well as forklift engines and combine engines. It is my belief the IND designation applies to the use of sodium filled valves. All else is the same. Bob
